About his work

Alan Becker is known for his short clips that he published on YouTube. All of his animation has simple stick man characters with different colors to differentiate each one. With simple characters and background, he is able to tell a story. For example in his animation called Animation vs. Arcade, the story is about these five stick man characters playing 90s arcade games and eventually they broke the 4th wall and went into the game trying to survive by completing each game. I like this animation because the creator was able to make the reminisce about the 90s games whilst making the animation fun and entertaining. Just watching his animation takes me back to the time I was playing Pac-man with my brother after school.

His other animation called animator vs animation is one of the most entertaining videos. Just with his usual stick man characters he tells a story about how this stick man lives in the computer helps the animator animate but then when the virus took over the computer, they have this epic battle with the virus. Even though the characters weren't complicated, his animation was spectacular, the timing, the moves, the sound, it shows that Alan was a very experienced animator.
